Setting: After the events of "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones", Obi-Wan Kenobi sings while reminiscing about his and his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker's adventures....

OBI-WAN:

A long long time ago
In a galaxy far away
Senator Padme was attacked.
The Council sent me and Anakin to protect her from this assassin
And maybe try to get him off her back.
We chased him on a speeder through Coruscant,
Good thing my boy's a flying savant.
He thought he was podracing,
Blast! This is why I hate flying.
We caught the assassin as she tried to flee
But how we did it, oh, mercy me!
This lad will be the death of me.
Oh yes, that's my boy...

Oh my my Anakin sure can fly
He'll turn Vader someday later
And soon we'll find out why
Now he's just a fine lad, my Padawan, by and by,
He's saying, "Soon I'll be a real Jedi."
"Soon I'll be a real Jedi."

I visited my old friend, Dex
To have a chat and discover the specs
of the dart used by that "Rocket Man".
I sought some help from Jocasta Nu
But on Kamino, she didn't have a clue,
So I met up with Yoda and the Bear Clan.
I finally found that lost planet
And I met the Kaminoans and the Fetts.
They were building a Clone Army.
But why? It's a mystery....
Meanwhile, Ani and Padme were on Naboo
And a fateful romance was starting to brew,
There was nothing else that i could do
To stop and save my boy....

Padme was singin'...
My my I'm falling for this guy,
He'll turn Vader someday later and soon we'll find out why
Now he's just a fine lad, a Padawan, by and by,
He's saying "Soon I'll be a real Jedi"
"Soon I'll be a real Jedi."

We trailed the Fetts to Geonosis
Me and Arfour, they just could not dismiss
So we quietly landed our transport.
We found Dooku and the Separatists,
The Republic, they wanted to resist.
But I was caught in mid-report.
Meanwhile, Ani dreamed of his mom, Shmi
And her suff'rings were all that he could see.
He returned to Tatooine,
Met the Lars and surveyed the scene...
And then, after the Tuskens, off he flew,
He found Shmi dying, there's nothing he could do
So he killed the men, women, and children too...
My hurting and angry boy....

Yoda was singin'....
My my suffering is that guy
Turn to Vader, he will later, find out why, we will try
Just a fine lad he is, a Padawan, by and by,
He's saying "Soon I'll be a real Jedi."
"Soon I'll be a real Jedi."

Ani and Padme tried to rescue me
Now in the arena, the prisoners were three,
We fought a reek, acklay, and nexu.
Then the Jedi came, the party's over,
Battle droids attacked, 'twas all a blur,
Jango was cleanly sabered by Master Windu.
Just when we thought we were surrounded
Yoda came, the Clones he commanded.
We caught Dooku, and things got worse,
And Ani fought him with two sabers.
My boy's arm got chopped, he was outclassed,
But Yoda, Dooku could not surpass,
He escaped, thus, began this Clone War has...
And we lay injured, me and my boy....

Palpatine was singin'....
My my through my plans, this nice guy
Will turn Vader someday later and soon we'll find out why
